This would be the most logical, finger cross now that TUI find a deal for CUN as well. And maybe one day Brussels Airlines could operate them.

Either Air India or Eva to Taipei.
BAC has been working on both for a while.
Is their enough demand to warrant a flight to Taipei?

Could it be the 4th destination of Hainan (Chongqing)? Saw this passing by: https://www.xiaohongshu.com/explore/67a ... 976340866b
Exactly, it's the fourth destination for Hainan to Chongqing. And the increase is not for NH but also for Hainan who wants to go daily to Shanghai
Wasn't Hainan on the verge of bankruptcy?
Hasta la victoria siempre.

I don't understand all these flights to China, we are almost at war with China and people continue to travel there?
How are we almost at war with China? We shouldn't be doing America's bidding on this one. China has never threatened, nor did they ever come here to lecture us like JD Vance did recently.

We have to strengthen our ties with China. Contrary to the US they are export oriented and ahead in some key industries.

But they support Russia while we are at war with them this is not an economic war, it is a real war!!!

And we are NOT strengthening our ties with China that's for sure the EU is very wary of China for the moment, too little in my opinion.

For example we should close the air border between the EU and Russia so they do not benefit from an advantage over European companies
Hasta la victoria siempre.

I have to be careful here, since O/T, but the USA supports Russia, too. Are they our enemies now?

The EU is hypocrite about this situation. Wary of China, but open to the US while the America w aren't more friendly then the Chinese.

The world order is quickly changing. The USA is in a rapid decline, will we allow them to drag us along?

Political situation certainly has and will have more influence on aviation and other business.
It is good to mention it and to discuss.

Exactly what member Zavcity is saying, this is a topic about SS25. For political and war debates go somewhere else

In the most recent press release of BRU it doesn't say anything about a new destination of Hainan nor an upgrade to daily on the Brussels -Shanghai route.
Both r off the table?
