your right there Meerkat, but the good news is : this is only a temporary solution for the Itallians, they urgently need to replace the F 104 Starfighters for the time they get the long awayted Eurofighter.
i think they lease those F16's for some 3/4 years ( maybe they'le keep some, but the idee is just filling the gap between the F104's who are faling apart, and the Typhoon )

Again stunning pictures 8O I really like the landing DC-3 and the AN-30 at the static display. Really excellent pics !

About the overflying airplanes ... I see the Gulf A340's overflying Hasselt very often. Probably it is the LHR-flight that is returning to the Gulf region.
