As already communicated in other topic, the 40 boeing 737-8 ordered by the Lufthansa Group have been assigned to Eurowings to replace the 31 A319 and other older A320.

The 40 Boeing Max aircraft ordered by LH Group in December 2023 will gradually replace Eurowings A319-320 aircraft from 2027 onwards. What a relief !

Given the fact that SN hst the same engines on the 320NEOs, all should cross fingers that LH would activate the 60 options as well in order to streamline Eurowings fleet and re-allocate Airbuses to other brands.

In the coming 8-10 Years Austrian would need to replace a good portion of it's own A320/321 as well and the current order (without the 40 options) is barely enough to replace LH's outgoing Airbuses.
