There was another big diversion due to the Darragh storm (I won't speak about the dozens of cancellations and small diversions):
On 7 December, EK31 (A380-800 reg. A6-EUW) from Dubai to Heathrow tried to land there three times and eventually diverted to Frankfurt after flying over Brussels where it could have landed as well.

After 1 hour 40 min on the ground in FRA, the aircraft resumed its flight to LHR, where it was able to land immediately.
This one is even more impressive !

TB 1011 (OO-SRO) BRU-AGP diverted to TLS this morning, and continued to AGP quite soon afterwards. What was the reason for the diversion?

Since the aircraft took off again soon after landing, the reason is probably medical.

Very ironic after what happened recently: Aeroflot flight SU527 (Boeing 777-300ER reg. RA-73130) from Dubai to Moscow Sheremetyevo diverted to ... Baku, Azerbaijan. Reason unknown. The Azeris should keep the plane as a hostage until the Russians admit they shot down the Azerbaijan Airlines Embraer 190RA.

I was on that flight, the pilot said we had an avionics malfunction.
