The 777 is one of the quietest aircraft.
Its not the first time this guy makes stupid decisions, we have seen many over the years. Its time to go !!

Hi
I live in the centre of Zaventem, right between the runways..Aircfaft noise is no issue to me except forthe saturday night 25L departures BUT there is one aircraft you hear its start up till here every time:yes, the Boeing 777..I can tell exactly when Emirates, Aerologic for example leave here...So maybe a little bit of truth in the saying the 777 is a little noisy(for a couple of seconds!)

Just an update. The changes will come in effect as from September this year. Cargo forwarders are not happy about it but QR is just looking where they can earn much more money.Atlantis wrote: 30 Jul 2024, 19:01 Qatar cargo is keeping their cargo map against the light. They will withdrawal from The States and for sure Atlanta will be axed.
Reason for this is the huge amount of cargo carriers between The States and Europe, saturation.
They will focus more on cargo flights to India and China.
We will see what will be the consequence for Brucargo
It's about 600 ton of cargo per week. Some destinations will discontinued but can be replaced by LATAM. QR has a stake in this airline. LATAM also jumped on this news by increasing the number of flights on certain routes as from the 1st October.
Not only Qatar will withdraw partially, also Martinair cargo. The gap will not be filled up by EY, TK or EK bcs for them is a detour and simply not profitable

Seems like a solution for Aerologic to use its 777 on night flights has be found.

You’re not alone in thinking that! The new Lufthansa Cargo could indicate a strong future for partnerships among LH, UA, and SN. Exciting times ahead.theeuropean wrote: 16 Mar 2024, 15:14 Maybe I am reading way too much into it but I’m wondering if the new lufthansa cargo is a sign for things to come - apart from the press release itself about the growing partnership between LH, UA and SN
