yesterday I received a message from American Express Belgium to announce the end of the Miles and More partnership with Brussels Airlines.
For me, as a not so heavy flyer, this was a nice way of keeping the validity of the miles, and also to generate some ...
Does somebody know what is going to happen ?
Is M&M going to introduce a new credit partner in the near future ?
I find it really annoying that Miles and More are totally silent in this matter .... and leave their members in the cold...
Is this a SN matter or rather a LH matter ?
I read somewhere else on this site that LH has announced a partnership with Deutsche Bank .... is this linked ??

I got an e mail from M&M stating that they cease relationship with amex. They stated that another alternative will be communicated soon..
I've contacted them by mail for a clarification on the last sentence in their correspondence : "collected miles will remain valid untill 30 June 2025 as a goodwill measure" !
Since I have used my card since 2007, without using any collected miles, a clear answer to the question if I am able to transfer them somehow to keep the validity would be very welcome. Otherwise I have to plan some extra leave from work before June 2025...

Indeed a new partnership with Deutsche Bank might make sense as long as you do not have to switch your bank account to DBank. Wait and see.
Just for info, while waiting for the final decision, you might already have a look at Beobank and their AF-KL credit cards. No need to open a bank account with them (in theory).

PS. no answer yet, as one could expect...
I got an answer by asking the right person: the miles will be transferred to the (yet unnamed) new partner programme. That's the least one could expect.
