Also dolphins that the Faroe Islands are accused of massacring? (I know, dolphins are not fish)
What does this have to do with LATAM flying from South America to BRU?

Having a business plan that fills the aircraft only one-way may not pay the bills. Per local sources, airline already gave up on EWR, wants to focus on Europe and ACMI. Aircraft seems to be parked in BLL for now. Seeing as it flies under the West Air Sweden AOC, I predict it will operate for DHL or UPS in 3, 2. 1...

The strike at Faroe, which took 4 weeks, ended with a new signed agreement.
Let's see of FarCargo put again the cargo flights to BRU.

Hope they stop flying all together.
The barbaric slaughtering of dolphins and whales should not be supported by BRU.

The courier company FedEx has confirmed that it intends to cut 385 jobs here in Belgium. The company’s management announced the job cuts at an extraordinary meeting of the firm’s Work Council on Wednesday.
The unions say that the job losses will be at FedEx’s operation at BruCargo in Zaventem (Flemish Brabant). 1,000 people currently work at FedEx’s BruCargo site. No job losses are expected at FedEx’s operations in Liège.

Because the jobs have already been lost in the past when two-thirds of the Liège operations were transferred to Paris CDG.

Just found it out myself. No extra freight bcs Air Belgium was operating much less in June. I believe it's a parallel cooperation now which later Capital Airlines later fully will take over

Qatar cargo is keeping their cargo map against the light. They will withdrawal from The States and for sure Atlanta will be axed.

Reason for this is the huge amount of cargo carriers between The States and Europe, saturation.

They will focus more on cargo flights to India and China.

We will see what will be the consequence for Brucargo

I believe Qatar Cargo is closing IAH, SCL, VCP and ATL. Impact on BRU may be minimal as only ATL routinely transits, and solely on the return leg at that.

The aircraft will be re-assigned mostly to India, China, and South-East Asia, but they plan a "modest" expansion in Europe too.

Demand to North/South America is growing in single digit, but available space is growing by 20%, leading to lower cargo rates.

Georges Gilkinet, Belgium's minister for Mobility (and member from the Green Party) has cancelled the permit allowing DHL to use their B777 freighters during night time. The permit was granted in 2013 by then-minister Wathelet. To limit the noise, the 2013 permit stated that DHL had to limit its capacity to 60%.

The Flemish government will most probably call a "conflict of interest".
