Yesterday (24 March), Brussels Airlines resumed flights to Tel Aviv. Airbus A320 OO-SNJ operated flight SN3289. Flightradar24 data show that the aircraft diverted to Beirut. However, the same FR24 website shows that one hour after landing in BEY (?), the flight departed normally from Tel Aviv. Wow: teleportation!

Note: a Brussels Airlines spokesman confirmed that flight SN3289 landed normally in TLV.
Flightradar24 tracking disallowed ?

While Flightradar24 is only guessing the diversion airport and in cases where ground receiver coverage is poor, that leads occasionally to incorrect guesses being made by FR24.
But in this case something else was going on. Once SN3289 was halfway between Cyprus and Israel, both FR24 and ADS-B Exchange received from SN3289 some strange ADS-B broadcasts (with position accuracy being reported as more than 10 NM = the worst grade of accuracy), with positions jumping all over the place.
And at the end of the flight these erratic positions reports, all centered (incorrectly) around Beirut airport.

My guess is, that the cause of all this can most likely be found on this map.

Egyptair Cargo flight MSR5567 from Tripoli (MJI) to Ostend (OST) operated by Airbus A330-200(P2F) registered SU-GCJ squawked 7700 while close to Nice, circled some time and eventually diverted to Milan Malpensa (MXP). After one hour on the ground, the plane resumed its flight towards OST, where it is expected to land at 21:48 (UTC+2)

More information:

Last Sunday, an Egyptair Airbus A330-200, registered SU-GCJ and coming from Tripoli in Libya, was refused entry into French airspace by the Air Navigation Route Center (CRNA).

It was escorted by a Rafale, based in Istres, to the Italian border. The cargo plane was able to land safely in Milan, where it was able to refuel before leaving for Ostend in Belgium.

I understand the density of fog but why is UA 999 diverted when just behind it DL140 lands...the airport has the same equipment for both planes...the two planes have different equipment?

The only two flights that had to hold and divert are 78s.

Yes, equipment related to the aircraft itself and not the aircraft type (the 787 is obviously CAT3 capable).
Or crew qualification indeed.
