After transferring my spotting photos from my camera to my PC, i decided to change my desktop photo.

This little Spanish jet was the "star" of my spotting in Manchester on Tuesday. It was being prepared to fly to Barcelona, and we watched it leave. It put in the best rate of climb I have seen on a small aircraft since watching a Saab 2000 at London City in 2002 - it was superb!

A picture of the IL-62 M of Cubana shot at Gatwick a few years ago. But I try not to stick with an image for too long, so that I don't get bored with it.

I added a new desktop photo the other day.

It's an Andrewsarchus, an extinct mammal related distantly to the modern day sheep, but having the distinction of being a hoofed-type carnivore. It is from "Walking with Beasts", quite simply the best natural history series ever shown on TV, especially for someone interested in extinct mammals. I have the complete series on DVD and also the book, which is a fascinating read.

A pic I took myself, the best I ever made so far, in my humble opinion...

I would be playing that never-ending change your decktop game. However as a tribute to MD-11's hard work I am currently using this Dakota DC-3 he did for me.

So I've to be glad with the standard background of windows xp

Hey tell here they are passenger aircraft, not alien spaceships. How old is your sister? I hope you use the same defence in stopping her from downloading pics of horses or Justin Timberlake. :fight:

Not all girls download pics of horses and Justin Timberlake, see my desktop photo, which was downloaded. Hardly cute and cuddly looking is it? Saliva dripping from its jaws...

Comet my friend, my reply was aimed at girls aged 12-16. I like your background. I like to see women who are independent and not so...girly. Thats why I'm with lowflyby. How many men can talk aviation with their partners and have them actually care. I am very lucky.

And I guess its safe to say that the skipper likes his women...completely shaved (and bald)

I seem to miss the part where you compare the two huge engines with female.........well, you know!

But I have to regret, I was not refering to what you meant, I just sometimes refer as "girl" to a beautiful aircraft.
