Add a few months to the above schedule: Jet Airways is likely to start its operation by the end of 2022 as it began training for its first batch of cabin crew at the Gurugram centre.

Jet Airways has identified three A320neos and two B737-8 planes for its initial fleet and is in the process of signing lease agreements. A mixed fleet might not be the best idea though.

Will Jet Airways ever take off again? The airline could be forced into liquidation by lenders as they consider selling 11 aircraft while the NCLT-approved resolution process remains slow.

Jet Airways has sent close to 10% of its employees on leave without pay and imposed pay cuts on another 30%.

Jet Airways lenders are resisting a court-approved resolution plan, further delaying the airline’s return to the skies. Banks say the new buyers should pay an additional US$30.1 million into the retirement kitty.

At the stroke of midnight hour, the Jet Airways Air Operator Certificate (AOC) will expire.

As an application to extend its validity has not been made to the Indian civil aviation regulator, it seems highly unlikely the airline will return to the skies again.

Without its long haul product what was so good about the airline that they want it flying again? boring livery bad name and logo. I could picture it in Virgin Atlantics 2000-2006 livery or Virgin Sun livery as an LCC, but thats not happening.

Their daily BRU- Mumbai and BRU-Delhi flights in Business class offered excellent service and were very popular.

And their continuation legs BRU-JFK and BRU-Toronto attracted many North American customers.

They offered first class seats on their local flights to pax who flew Business on their long-haul.

But that wont be anymore, what were they expecting it to be after revival, seems like bringing it back just for the heck of it, like i said with long haul fleet and product gone theres nothing special about it.

Their domestic network was also quite extensive and they enjoyed a good reputation, specially compared to Air India whose service and management were sloppy at best and that was rated very low.
