Agree for SN BA scheme with the S blue engine!

It is a pity that in their current livery SN BA painted their engine in the same colour as the body and got rid of the distinctive S-marked blue colour.

I prefer number 2 with a blue engine and blue wingtips.

I also like the third one the best,
only I would have the titles larger...
When you see that most people in Africa (Europe too...) still refer to it as Sabena, maybe they should make their trade name more visible...

I prefer the second one 'SNBA copy" with the blue engines of number three and the blue winglets. In fact I'm like the majority

Since everyone seems to agree, we shoud make a suggestion to Mr. SN to slightly modify the colours, not only on the A330, but on the whole fleet.

Engine cowlings in Sabena Blue, with the distinctive Sabena 'S' mark.

I also like the second one the best combined with blue S-engines and wingtips (the scheme Blackhawk created later in the topic).

A second option (future project?) would be an entire new colourscheme, in which SNBA would fully get rid of the former Sabena-style, and apply a more Belgian tricolor corporate identity (aka VG Airlines).

Regards, Robin Bamps.

That wouldn't be a good idea. The distinctive "S" has been kept to be recognized more easily. SN has created its own corporate image for more than 2 years and one of the main "symbols" of their company is the big " Sabena "S". It definately has to be kept.
In addition to that I find those tails with the "S" on them, one of the most beautiful out there.

I fully agree with you, Chris.

Furthermore, changes in liveries are always introduced progressively, never in a brutal way in order not to confuse the public.

Finally, the VG Airlines (or Delsey) livery was not the best one ever created...

I also agree with Chris and André that such a big change is not something for the very near future.

But in the far future it isn't impossible ...
Hapag-Lloyd also dropped its original tail logo for the new TUI-smiley after almost 30 years.

For me, the last one is the nicest, with the blue engines and the S on the engines.

That's a personnal opinion, and my opinion is that is was one of the best ever created, especially with the Delsey titles

If Sabena was still around, Delsey would never have been created.

And then, the Sabena livery would still be up-to-date and would not need any modification. With Magritte's Bird in the Sky and the S-tail.

Sabena livery was the best ever in Belgium.
