Re: Boeing 737 (MAX) news
Boeing is offering Air India B737 MAX jets once slated for Chinese customers, as the planemaker tries to offload some of the roughly 140 aircraft it’s currently not allowed to deliver.
Boeing orders and deliveries data for September 2022 show BBAM ordered two B737 MAX, while unidentified customers ordered seven B737 MAX.
The FAA told Boeing that some key documents submitted as part of the agency’s ongoing certification review of the B737 MAX 7 are incomplete and others need a reassessment by the US planemaker.

Yes indeed: we are so lucky in Europe that the word "lobby" has been removed from our dictionary.Boeing Commercial Airplanes Chief Executive Stan Deal said the planemaker will continue to push (= to lobby) US Congress to pass legislation for the B737 MAX 7 and MAX 10 to win certification even if a key 27 December 2022 deadline passes.
It does no longer exist in (aviation) businesses, in European politics and regional politics (j'en ai marre des parvenus...)
The original press announcement from Reuters:
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C., Dec 13 (Reuters) - Boeing (BA.N) Commercial Airplanes Chief Executive Stan Deal on Tuesday said the U.S. planemaker will continue to push Congress to pass legislation for the Boeing 737 MAX 7 and MAX 10 to win certification even if a key Dec. 27 deadline passes.
"We're still working obviously and hope something happens this year - got another shot early next," Deal said on the sidelines of an event at its 787 final assembly plant. "We're going to hope Congress does their part of this."
