air force one

Is it possible that I've seen Air Force One yesterday (8/6)?
At 19.18h I saw a 747 cruising above my house and it looked like the presidential plane...
Did Bush leave France yesterday after the D-Day ceremony?

uuhhm.....well not really
I think that the plane from yesterday had a coloured tail, semi coloured and that plane was heading north. So it could be heading to Eindhoven, but you said that it was already stationed there. So my plane is a UFO
Maybe it could have been a freighter of...uhhmmm an American airline I think, these plane are painted green...

Bush is allready in the US in Georgia for the G8 summit.
So I doubt that you saw AF1.

That's correct.
The E4 is a complete mobile commando centre. During it's stay in Eindhoven one of the engines was always running.
In case of a emergency and Air Force One wasn't able to take off for whatever reason Bush would go to the E4 and fly with this plane.

There were even to of these E4's around during Bush' stay in Normandie. THere was also one based in Germany.
The E4 B's are also able to be refeulled in the air.
Only 4 of them are in service. And at least one is always around when Bush is traveling.

Yvo
