F-GTUB in the old Air Outre Mer c/s with a blue belly & Qualiflyer Group titels."

Does somebody know why AOM A343 appeared at BRU on 09 November 2002?

Thanks

PS: I like the composition of the picture below. (TEA A300 at BRU)

AOM A343 at BRU - who has the story?

Hi Established02,

The aircraft was in BRU for maintenance by SN Technics.

It was a kind of test: if they are satisfied with the service and quality of SN Technics, they will probably sign a contract with them.

So maybe we will see them more over here in the future.

I'm afraid we won't see AOM A343's anymore, neither in Brussels or elsewhere, after their bankruptcy. A pity for SN Technics. :(

AOM

I used to see this plane in LAX.

Not anymore I guess.

I think Air Tahiti/Nui are replacing the AOM flights from LAX.
I was told Air Tahiti/Nui flies old SN 340's ?
True ?

Hello AirDD,

Doesn't Air Tahiti already fly LAX-CDG? (a fuel stop when coming from Papeete - French Polynesia).

Air Tahiti has flown ex-Sabena buses (as far as I remember one or two undelivered SN A340-300's, although at least one of those also went to Canada 3000, also bankrupt).

Regards
Frederic
