aircrafts flying low over Ghent

Post by AVR »

anybody an idea why many aircrafts are flying very low over the Ghent area? Since a couple of days, aircrafts are flying very visibly low to very low. Thanks for any explanation, just curious.

Without details of what you saw it is hard to tell, but if you saw military aircraft like a C130 or a A400M flying past at very low altitude (1000ft), they were most likely part of the STORM TIDE 22, which is a large scale Non-combatant Evacuation Operation (NEO) military exercise running from 5 to 16 September.

More information about it can be found on the Facebook page of the Belgian Air Force as well as in Belgian newspapers.

Hello, geometry dash lite I think Ghent may lie along established flight paths for incoming or outgoing air traffic. Airports or airfields in the region, or even nearby military installations, can contribute to increased aircraft activity. If the flight paths are designed to pass over Ghent, it would result in aircraft flying at lower altitudes over the area.
