Air Lease Corp. chairman Steven Udvar-Hazy said the future of the B777X project could be at risk after Boeing pushed back the first delivery of the aircraft by more than a year to 2025.

Lufthansa Group has ordered a total of ten freighters – including three B777F and seven B777-8F, In addition, leases for two B777Fs, which run through 2024, will be extended for seven years each through 2031. The first of the B777F is expected as early as July 2022 and delivery of the -8Fs is expected at a later date between 2027 and 2030.
