Putin doesn't give a damn about the Russian economy now. His primary goal is to install a puppet regime in Kiev. Afterwards he might care about the economy and realise that he has lost more than he gained with his dream of a Great Russia.

I'm not sure about that! Let's see how the Rouble reacts.

I see KL903 returning home, as well as KL1395 which was heading to St Petersburg Pulkovo (LED).

Are the people at KLM crazy to continue flying to Russia?

It seems that the Dutch government has decided that it is forbidden to send / to sell aircraft spare parts to Russia. And with some spare parts onboard...

Citing “unfriendly decisions” by Warsaw, Prague, and Sofia in response to Russian aggression in Ukraine, Russia’s federal aviation agency announced that it closes its airspace for passenger airlines owned by companies in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Bulgaria, or registered in those countries.

That's part of the European package of sanctions against Russia, and not a Dutch Gov't decision. The fear of KLM is that there would be no spare parts in Russia in case of a problem occurring there.

Airlines, including KLM, fly to remote places where there are no spare parts hundreds of times a day.
There’s far more to this story than meets the eye!

Might be due to the impending prohibition of all Russian commercial flights over EU countries, which will automatically trigger a similar prohibition of EU flights over Russia.

Lufthansa just issued a statement saying: "Lufthansa will not use Russian airspace for the next seven days due to the current and emerging regulatory situation. Flights to Russia will be suspended during this period. We continue to monitor the situation closely and are in close exchange with the authorities".

Reuters states that Finland "is preparing to close its airspace". Thus not closed yet.

There are at least 5 Finnair aircraft over Russia right now. Maybe they are waiting for that all aircraft land at HEL.
