Looking for house or apartment around Zaventem airport

Post by Lien »

Groetjes

Lien,

change the content of your original message and add an English translation. I bet you have more chance in finding a flat when it is in English (some foreigners, French-speaking, etc...)

I'm sure that some of the people who don't like the noise of the airport will be ready to sell their appartment for a very good price.

Translation:
I wonder if someone could eventually help me.
I am looking for a place to rent just around the airport in Zaventem, Steenokkerzeel, etc ...

My preference goes to a flat or an appartment one room.

I don't mind planes above my head, the more the better (it is not a joke).
I want the place to be as close as possible to the airport as I am mostly in the air and want to loose as little time as possible travelling between home and work.

Many thanks.

Sorry for this late reply but I have been extreemly busy lately flying and working at Antwerp airport.

Thanks for your replies, so far I found several people complaining about the noise, but in response to my question they don't want to rent their place.
I don't get it. People are really difficult to understand.

Thanks again , all of you, see you soon.

I know that there is an 'open field' (bouwgrond?) for sale in neighbour of rwy 02... just 5 min. walk from Zaventem railroad - Dorp. No appartments or houses I know, just check the Internet and you'll find some nice stuff

BeN - my other posts in this topic were deleted  I probably have more posts deleted than most other members over the months

I have a fantastic memory, that is all I am going to add to this thread, but some will know what I am talking about

That is indeed expensive for enduring the noise. That means that a lot of people don't care and like living there. So what's all the fuss about noise?

Maybe Zaventem village itself is not so affected?
