Best 80s Song.

Ok I know the 1980s was a decade most of us would like to forget, but I still love 1980s music. Does anybody on here still like 80s music, and if so, what is your favorite song from that decade?

I have always really liked the song "Shock the Monkey" by Peter Gabriel.

nwa757 - I adore 80s music, but it is impossible for me to name a favourite out of the very many that I like! I find the early 80s were better than the lates 80s, because more groups wrote their own material instead of being Stock, Aitken and Waterman clones, which seemed to dominate the latter part of the 80s (think Kylie Minogue, Rick Astley to name a couple - some of the direst stuff in the 80s came from the likes of them!) 1982/83/84 were the best years of the 80s, from 1987 onwards, the music really went down the pan!

And my absolute favourite song is not from the 80s, even though I am an 80s fan. Nothing beats playing "The Boxer" loud on our CDplayer and hoping everyone else in the block hears it as well I adore that song!

Bon Jovi in the 80's was just perfect.
Still bought all the cd's after the 80's but they never came back anymore as they were in those years!

80's music is great.
I always listen to Club 977 only 80's music on this great internet radio.

For me Queen was one of the best 80's music groups.

For the really great music you need to go back to the 60's (Beatles, Stones Beach Boys to name a few) however the 80's also produced some fantastic groups and singers.

I couldn't name a particular favourite, there are too many, but, just a few for me would be Madonna, "Holiday", Europe and "Final Countdown", I also liked some of Queen's songs. I could go on for ever.......
