most popular belgian narrow-body???

Post by teddybAIR »

After the poll for the most beautifull belgian wide-body, it seems logical to me to have a second poll with the most popular belgian narrow-body aircraft.

If you let me choose...hm, that's easy: the SN avro RJ 100!!!

hm...I love that plane!

The Sobelair B737-800 OO-VAS with blended winglets.

That's a difficult one, but for me it's the AVRO RJ85/100 and BAe146. THey are very cute

After that on 2. it's the A319 of SN(SNBA and Sabena) and on 3. it's the B737classic of VEX/SN(Sabena)

My favourites - the Avro RJ85 (superb aircraft to fly in) and the Fokker 50 (superb viewing, great fun - I just love props!)

The only other Belgian one I've flown in was the 737, and I'm not a 737 fan anyway.
Sabena and Sobelair - gone but never forgotten.

My favourite # 1:

Virgin B737-300/-400
(with new colours and new blue leather seats interior)

#2: VLM F50 (with airNostrum interior)
#3: TCK A320
#4: SN A319
#5: SN RJ85/100

Sabena 737-200

Nothing can beat the Sabena 737-200! Sitting in or around the old tree where the new control tower development is (most people will remember that tree with bit of poles in it etc!), watching them take off, with the noise off the engines causing tempory deafness. Absolutly great!

Interesting to see that almost nobody chooses the less known carriers, some fo which have already faded away. For example: constellation A320
Air Belgium B737 & 727
Sobelair A310
...

Is that the one with the fabric seats instead of leather ones? I've been on two like that - OO-VLQ and OO-VLS, I prefer the leather of OO-VLV.
Sabena and Sobelair - gone but never forgotten.

I'd have to say Sabena A321 with SN Avro RJ coming in at a close second. The 321s looked GREAT in the Sabena livery.
Onward and Upward...
