Sorry Walter but all I see is an empty box with a red cross (it's the same with mine, but Erwin's is showing okay).

The Russian Tu-114 - the most powerful propliner ever to see active service. Altho adapted from the Tu-95 "Bear" bomber, the Tu-114 was an active participant in the former-Soviet Union's air fleet. Too bad there isn't enough will or money to get one back into flying condition.

Cheers!

I change regularly and usually have the latest aircraft in which I have flown (picture done by me or found on the net)... currently SNBA A319 OO-SSG (my last flight is from 4 May - lunar eclipse) but it will change soon as I am bound for LCY tomorrow with a Fokker F-50 with VLM

I also change my desktop photo regularly.

The previous one I had was very similar to my current one, it was the same aircraft, just a bit closer to the terminal so that you could see the doors from the airbridges. I have also had several VLM Fokker 50s, my old horse Stjarna, a Dash 8 Q400 of Augsburg (chosen because the first Q400 I saw was an Augsburg example at LCY) and sometimes I have selected set ones which were supplied with XP, such as a nice one of Stonehenge which I had for a while.

When I was at college, I was always changing the desktop, and had a Sabena A321, a view of Brugge taken by VC10 (which is on my Belgium Photos site), various VLM Fokker 50s and the Atomium. Then they made a rule at college to say that no more "personal" desktops were allowed and we could only have the standard college logo after that (which, believe me, was bloody hideous and not as nice as the ones I have mentioned  )

I am, however, always on the lookout for new desktop photos
