Laudamotion will close down and move its operations under a new entity, Lauda Europe (Malta), which has its own AOC and operating license. The first flight is set for November 2020.

Ryanair owes Boeing US$6.0 billion for 135 ordered B737 MAX planes, the delivery of which has been delayed since 2019. The Group has options to buy up to 75 more MAX under agreements dating back to 2014.

Ryanair is rumored to be applying for flights from Pulkovo International Airport in St. Petersburg.

Lauda Europe (now based in Malta) and sister company Malta Air to share the same headquarters and some of the same management, including David O’Brien, Richard Higgins, Angelo Buhagiar, and Neil Sorahan.

Joramco of Jordan has successfully completed its first-time base maintenance agreement with Ryanair, covering heavy checks on the airline’s B737 NG fleet.

3 A320 of Lauda Austria have been registered in Malta as Lauda Europe.

Due to high fees. The 7 Lauda A320s based in DUS were all operating Ryanair flights.
