'10 points go to our neighbour X and 12 points go to our neighbour Y'.
Does it actually make sense to keep on participating?
She did a nice job, I don't care about the points...

It's a matter of taste I think... personally I didn't really like their song, but that's eachothers opinion. It was a different kind of music of Urban Trad, and that's one of the main reasons why a lot of people felt 'attracted' to the song I think. Not really my style, but then again, who the f*ck am Isn26567 wrote:As I mentioned elsewhere, SN Brussels would have been much better inspired to sponsor Urban Trad last year. They at least got a brilliant second place after having had the lead for a long time.
And thanks to Xandee, we will have to go through the semifinals next year, whereas thanks to Urban trad, Xandee could go directly to the final.
I couldn't agree more with you :thumbsup2:Sabena_690 wrote:

André, it's not "thanks" to Xandee we will have to go through semifinals, it's because of the apparently bad taste for music, or no taste at all if you see wath the Russian "singer" got of pointssn26567 wrote:And thanks to Xandee, we will have to go through the semifinals next year, whereas thanks to Urban trad, Xandee could go directly to the final.
Quite normal, even with televoting. Many artists are known in their neighbouring countries too (but is Xandee known in France, the Netherlands, ...?) so people there are more inclined to vote for that artist, since they are also famous in those countries. Furthermore some countries have large populations of neighbouring countries living there, and who do you think they will vote for?The funny thing was that the ones who gave comments were even saying that their points went to their neighbour countries.

I fully agree!Sabena_690 wrote:

We are one country, and should be proud of having a flemish, wallon and german part.
I love Madness 8) And i love the "ska" music, so i also liked the Turkish song (even though they weren't "original" in the real meaning of the word), for me they could have won (that or either Cyprus or Ukraine, but i'm obliged to say that i didn't listen to every song) Xandee... sorry, but that song has never been my favourite. Belgium has few "ska" groups, maybe we should send them next yearthe Turks where maybe funny, but certenly not original ; 20 years ago a band called "Madness" did just the same act : THEY where original
