Airbus is close to a billion euros deal with Air France
To renew its ageing short- and medium-haul fleet, Air France plans to order 50 to 70 A220 and some A320neo aircraft. These are to replace aircraft of the A320 family nearing their end-of-life time, writes Reuters.

The FAA is ordering engine inspections on some A220 (and also E190-E2) series aircraft within 50 cycles, based on findings from two recent PW1524G-3 engine failures (twice on SWISS flights from Geneva to London City).

Ethiopian Airlines Group is close to agreeing on a deal with Airbus for as many as 20 A220s worth more than US$1.6 billion. Deal is expected to close by 2019 end.

Pratt & Whitney faces new checks on PW1500G engines for A220s and E2s after an engine failure forced a SWISS jet to divert to Paris and prompted a brief grounding of the rest of the airline’s A220 fleet.

airBaltic, Edelweiss Air and SWISS will retire aircraft code CS1 and CS3, switching to 221 (A220-100) and 223 (A220-300) from 27OCT19

So from know on Swiss can not fly higher than 35.000 feet for security reasons linked to the engine problem.
Why can they fly higher in the US?
Delta is not affected and is still flying high with the same engines?
In fact if you look to flighradar24 they are not flying higher than 28.000 feet!

May be a different EEC software...
Fuel/Air ratio might be too lean to fly upper FL, therefore altitude limitation has been put in place to avoid flame-out...Just a guess.
