The Dutch consumer and market authority "Autoriteit Consument en Markt" has rejected two complaints on tariffs and conditions at AMS Amsterdam Schiphol Airport for 2019-2021. One complaint from EasyJet, Ryanair, Corendon, Norwegian and TUI (nl) - and one complaint from Transavia:

De Autoriteit Consument & Markt (ACM) wijst klachten van zes luchtvaartmaatschappijen over de tarieven en voorwaarden van Schiphol af.

De luchtvaartmaatschappijen (Transavia, easyJet, Ryanair, Norwegian, Corendon en TUI) dienden klachten in tegen de tarieven en voorwaarden die Schiphol hanteert voor de periode 2019-2021. De klachten gaan over de manier waarop Schiphol haar consultatieprocedure heeft uitgevoerd en over de hoogte van de tarieven van Schiphol. Die tarieven zijn volgens de aanvragers om verschillende redenen onredelijk of discriminerend. Zo zouden de tarieven niet in verhouding staan tot de voorzieningen die worden geboden. Verder zou het verschil in bepaalde tarieven naar geluidsbelasting van vliegtuigen onredelijk zijn. Bovendien zouden de operationele kosten en het voorgenomen investeringsniveau van Schiphol onrealistisch hoog begroot zijn.

Na uitgebreid onderzoek concludeert de ACM dat de tarieven en voorwaarden niet in strijd zijn met de Wet luchtvaart.

I flew on that KLM 737 in 2017 and I just wondered if it will fly again or just be scrapped?

Few days ago, Security staff at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport had given a strike notice for this Sunday. The airport went to court ("short matter") to forbit the strike, and the judge has just ruled: the strike is not forbitten.
