First of all, what amazing pictures everyone has over here! It inspired me to purchase a SkyWatcher 8" Dobsonian. However, I've run into some problems so I was wondering if someone could help...
I was able to align my finder scope with the telescope itself (using a distant object), but when I try to take pictures with my Canon (attached with t-ring and 2x barlow lens), I'm having difficulty focusing on the aircraft using the Crayford focuser. How do you guys focus so quickly on such fast moving subjects? I guess it comes with practice, but I don't even know where to begin as all I can get on my camera is blue with a dark smudge in the middle.
Thanks!!!
