I've seen it today! I must say, in real, it looks even better than a picture. But... that's the fact with ALL airliners, isn't it? :-)

From the pictures I have seen so far, there is one thing that is still not clear to me: are the engines painted in white, or in white blue like on the A319s?

The dark blue colour is gone, anyway :(

I just can't wait to fly with OO-DJK or OO-DJL to our tropical destinations to take nice pictures of the new livery!! ;-) ;-)

Let's do a little quiz here: "Do you know how many different liveries SN Brussels Airlines had after the start-up ?"

ciao,

Bart

Too many:

1) Sabena with S on white tail
2) Sabena with S on blue tail
3) like 1 without titles
4) like 2 without titles
5) like 4 with SN Brussels Airlines titles and an orange stripe
6) with blue colour of the tail extended to the back of the fuselage
7) with the light blue colour added to the fuselage and the engines

Did I forget any?

Six if you count the unofficial liveries also in.
-DWG and DWH old Sabena colors with only a with sticker over the smaller dark letter from sabena the light grey letters were still visible
-PLain S-tails with white stickers.
-Plain S-tails with SNBA stickers.
-the full bleu S-tails with complete SNBA painting scheme (DWC,.....)
-DWL orange-yellow line without SNBA on it.
-And Now the newest color.

The newest livery on the Avro's looks very fine to me, although I can't wait to see it it in real.

dolfke: are you sure that oo-djq won't receive the new livery? It doesn't seem logic that only a few aircraft will be left in the old colours. unless that oo-djq is one of the first aircraft to leave the fleet, but i don't really know anything about that matter. maybe someone else with more info?

thx

If OO-DJQ is really one of the first to leave the fleet, it wouldn't be a good managment decision to repaint the aircraft.

By the way, I liked the blue belly

I photographed OO-DWH on July 29, 2002, with the outher left engine partially in the new dark blue c/s, and with "Swissair" removed in the "Flying together with Swissair"-sticker.

Is that livery n° 8 ? :D

Regards, Robin Bamps.

Well in fact it was repainted in a newer livery: http://www.airliners.net/open.file/306389/M/

BTW both are my pictures and the new livery is the picture on the official luchtzak.be T-shirts! ;-)

Bart,

Was not one of the reasons of the end of the RJX program the bankrupt of Sabena? Sabena should have been one of the main costumers.
