Cargo traffic @ BRU (16.4.)

Post by Joge »

Hi, guys

I was just wondering if there is any cargo traffic arriving in BRU in the afternoons (and especially tomorrow), as I'll be probably in BRU that time.

Any of you will be there? :)

I believe you can catch Singapore Airlines B747, Saudia MD11 or B747, Eva Air MD, Cathay B747.
All these are cargo A/C.
Good luck

see http://www.biac.be/cargo_tt/

... but you do need to do a lot of mouse-clicking to find out what cargo lands on a specific afternoon... Maybe someone on this forum copied put all the actual cargo timetable info in a time-based roster instead of the city-based roster the only roster available on http://www.biac.be/cargo_tt/ ?

So that it can easily be seen what and how many heavies (74x mainly) land on a specific afternoon for example?

I have no idea which winds are to be expected, but after a search, it should be winds from the south/southeast. So I go for 25...

@ Joge

As you are interested in Cargo Heavies did you note the reg's of the Singapore and the EVA this evening? I passed by around 6-30lt - there was also an Air Hong Kong/Cathay on the ramp then.

Earlier in the day (around 0900) I went by Abelag and forgot to check the 737BBJ I think it was N366G but can anyone confirm this please - I was too interested in the 2 GV's and the new German Citation Excel to look properly at the 73 - call myself a spotter!!!!

Was it this one, if yes, your reg is right:

Time of departure: 09h48

The regs of the EVA and SIA's, my scanner was accidently turned off, so I don't have any ACARS-logs :( Otherwise they would have been in my log, sorry . . .

Hey guys,

Well, Bottie, I was at 25L until 14h30; then I moved to the asylum center till 19h45 (to watch the T/O of SP-LDC ;-)). After that I rushed to the 02 (which is on my way home) to watch the Helvetic coming down. But I didn't see you, shame...

But I have some questions about yesterday (about the 25R-landings -regs):
*13h25: B747 SQ
*14h: MD11 EVA
*14h05: B747 Kalitta
*14h20: ER4 PGA
*17h20: B747 SQ
*17h20: B734 OA (from Thessaloniki)

Ok, that's it. I enjoyed it very well yesterday. I really had to, because it could have been one of the last times of spotting before the end of June... (exams...)

Till next guys!

So...

I wasn't going to 25R at all, as there was anyway quite a lot of nice traffic landing on 25L as well that day. However, I heard the Cathay landing (yes, I could hear the engines from 40mi away  ), I drove to 25R and by that time, they vectored everything to 02. So that was the end of my spotting that day, I just didn't have the mood to go anymore to 02. Maybe some other time then.. :)
