Introduction of Brussels Airlines' fifth Belgian Icon OO-SND: Aerosmurf #SNSmurfs
Are there any news on #SNSmurfs? I know it will be officially presented on Saturday 24.03. - but nothing more (e.g. when it will be back in BRU before the event - or when will it fly the first commercial routes). I guess the presentation will be a "by invitation only" event for a selected audience - as was the case with the last ones.
Best regards,

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018
It seems to be scheduled to arrive under the cover of darkness tomorrow night. Arrival in BRU foreseen at 2300 local time. I guess it will go straight to the hangar.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018
ETA 2300 sounds tough indeed: the company wants to keep the secret until the official event. Well, fair enough.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018
FR24 doesn't show the outbound flight but well the SN3772 25MAR ALC-BRU op OO-SND.
STA BRU is 10:40 (could be 11:40, as mentioned by Flighstats.com, due local time switching to Bravo?)

And 184 seats? That's 4 more than the allowed maximum for an A320.

OO-SND at Ostrava is airborne.

Re: BRU 25/03/2018
I don't think it is. 195 rings a bell for the exit limit, and 186 for the max capacity to me.
They already have a few flying around with the 184 layout (MAX, if I remember correctly... No, not that MAX.)

Just one rule: no pictures online before the actual ceremony, we don't want to spoil the fun

I saw a pic, somewhere on FB. I won't say where but it represents the front of the aircraft. I can't describe it but it looks nice ! #Aerosmurf

Re: BRU 25/03/2018
That seems to be correct, for the moment.
SNF has been put on the “early” LHR flight, so SND’s first commercial flight in the new colours is now listed as LIN.
As always, subject to change...

Just to keep things aligned, SND has been pulled from the ALC flight, the first scheduled commercial flight right now is LIN.
