Time to fly home again! Originally I was supposed to fly out of Newark back to London but Virgin Atlantic cancelled the flight! I got rebooked trough JFK instead! the good thing! I would be crossing the Atlantic on a rare A340-600 instead of the usual A330-300!
Total score: 71%
As an avgeek the cancellation wasn't the worst thing! Especially since my new flight was operated by the Airbus A340-600! However... The Virgin Atlantic examples are quite tired and there are plenty of different options to log the A346! On my specific plane the IFE was inoperable as well! Neverthless our crew did their best and service was good despite all the issues with the IFE! Kudus to the JFK ground staff as well for solving my problem with the taxi coupon

Nice and smooth way to end this flying weekend! Connecting from London Terminal 3 to Terminal 5 was quite easy... However I do advise ample time to do so! For the rest your standard calm British Airways flight accross the Channel! BOB was ok.. Unfortunate the machines did have some probs with the credit card

So, if I were to fly BRU-JFK, would you recommend this tandem or will there be something better? I've gotten a corporate coupon for one of these bad boys https://tranio.com/rent/usa/new-york/ but it's still steep, and thus I'd like to get a good bang for my buck in terms of air fares. I've found how to save money without cutting on the quality of the trip in terms of food and visits to do, but if I can get some thrifty price for the plane ticket...

Hmm... couldn't help you with this unfortunatly! but prices indeed look quite steep! Think airbnb is better for such things..Oliv5590 wrote: ↑17 Jan 2018, 12:23 So, if I were to fly BRU-JFK, would you recommend this tandem or will there be something better?
