Re: TUI fly Belgium in 2018
Hi,
Can we trust this scheduled fly (TB6051) from BRU to BVC and then SID, for april the 28th ? I go on holiday with this fly so it will be nice to have one of the 4 - 737MAX8 (OO-MAX, OO-TMA, OO-TMB, OO-TMY)

I think you might indeed fly a MAX 8.
Class F Economy ? I thought F is for First!

I think the chances are rather high that they will start using the MAX as soon as possible on BVC-SID, since those routes are pretty much always load restricted.

Re: TUI fly Belgium in 2018
What about the arrival of OO-MAX? First flight still scheduled 15th of January?
Re: TUI fly Belgium in 2018
Good question, on the last list it still says "pre-flight prep" Renton, flightline.HQ_BRU_Lover wrote: ↑27 Dec 2017, 12:24 What about the arrival of OO-MAX? First flight still scheduled 15th of January?
A picture of a week ago shows that it still needed paint:

Re: TUI fly Belgium in 2018
Hello everyone.
Air Info/L'Aérien says in an article about JAF, the 2nd 787 will arrive but they will let OO-JNL in Belgium, and won't move. Strange !
Question, when does will arrive the OO-MAX ?

They don't work during weekends
Re: TUI fly Belgium in 2018
I guess that destinations like Heraklion and Tenerife need a wide-body during the summer holidays. Here some more information about the fleet expansion of TUI in 2018: +4 737-MAX8 and + 1 787-8TLspotting wrote: ↑08 Jan 2018, 15:25 Air Info/L'Aérien says in an article about JAF, the 2nd 787 will arrive but they will let OO-JNL in Belgium, and won't move. Re: TUI fly Belgium in 2018
No need for an article. TUI fly has confirmed in a press release that they will fly 2 B787s and 1 B767 in 2018. Thus an increase of one wised-body.Sai wrote: ↑09 Jan 2018, 22:06Do you have link to the article? I can't find it. ThanksTLspotting wrote: ↑08 Jan 2018, 15:25(...)

Re: TUI fly Belgium in 2018
Ok, thanks guys!
Was just wondering because according to the article on Wikipedia (Dutch) a B767 would leave the fleet in 2018 but one can find no info or article with a mentioning of a B767 staying (nor leaving) their fleet.
But even then it is still confusing to me and the numbers don’t seem to add up
In an article on the TUI press website (and on luchtvaartnieuws.nl, Nieuwsblad,…) TUI fly declares that they will have 33 own aircraft after adding 5 factory new Boeing. In an article on this forum, amongst others, 32 own aircraft are stated…
5 new = 4 737MAX + 1 B787 As someone on this forum mentioned the B787 would be rather young, but not factory new.
According to TUI fly 's website they currently have a fleet of 27 aircraft + 5 = 32…or is another ‘surprise’ still coming?
So this summer they will have a fleet of 33+3 leased from Smartlynx = 36…or 35…
Can anyone shed some light? How many aircraft? factory new or not? B737MAX and B787 and...or...? THanks a lot
