Looking at SBS Nato C17A 03 might be your candidate, decended in the area around 14.30 and departed the area this morning.

Many thanks Pieter - you're absolutely correct. I mistook the fin band for a 436AW machine as we rolled past on departure in fading light.

Should be 96-0001, 08-0001 is not a C-17

Tvan, 08-0001 is the FMS serial for the NATO C17A 01.
However the 01 was not in the area as per my available data. Neither was 96-0001. If it was indeed Nato 02 i doubt if he was there for Rex Tillerson. As i didn't see it myself i can't say for sure. Let's hope someone really read of the serial.
