Seems correct as both c/n are indeed assigned to TNT.
Normally, you have to go to Liege. I have both 737's on picture while standing at the ramp, but it is very difficult to see one moving during daylight.
But the facts ...
a shame that the Belgian carriers are losing this contract to a Freighter company
I believe that TNT's move is very smart and indeed original. They have the capabilities and have aircraft coming. Offering a QC operation is very smart as it would keep their aircraft busy and probably make more money than with just flying them at night.

For me, you should check your books twice, TNT is a BELGIAN carrier like anybody else and of couuuurse they have the right to bid for such a contract like anybody else. It is a fact that Touroperators look for stability and for companies who do not change their name every year.

Not so original, UK cargo carrier Channel Express already entered the pax-charter market in 2001 and some US carriers even before 2001!
"TNT" Club Med contract is flown this summer by Islandsflug B737-300 TF-ELQ. This is a damp lease with Islandsflug pilots and TNT cabin attendants. These were trained in the last few days by ICB in LGG. Some of the ICB 733 pilots are Belgian.
Yep TNT use TAY / Quality as callsign, they have wet leased a pax 733 for these club med services, it has to be a belgium airline operating these flights as they operate to destinations outside of the EU. As an airline you can wet lease for very short terms and operate wity someone elses callsign , crew etc but it get very expensive as every 5 days you should go thru the paperwork process with the authorities to wet lease another aircraft. JAR OPS 1 at it's best
Hello, Eurocontrol, the wet lease process is not so complicated as you described! You can wet lease an aircraft without any problems for a longer period than 5 days. Jar OPS does not limit this lease period, see also (EEC) No 2407/92
The heard hat specific aircraft serial number is actually committed to TNT Airways and will change registration as soon as possible but most probably sometime in fall 2004. They wet leased there was insufficient time before the start of the season. it appears that they obtained their license in about 4 or 5 weeks.
It is quite impressive they made it.

Good one Chris
That's not a joke Louise !!! I've a book which gives the callsign and many other infos of airlines all over the world. And for TNT they say that Nitro is the callsign.!!!
