Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2017
I have the impression that there were some more problems with E190 flights, the mid-week Nador flight out of ANR (OO-TEA) was operated from BRU (OO-JEB). Previous W.E. flight ALC-OST (OO-TEA) ended up in BRU.
Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2017
I don't think it was mentioned yet: OO-SFY was stuck in IAD for 24 h and came back to BRU this morning as SN1416.

The compensation is OK, but that's only a small part of the obligations; how did TUI manage to bring the pax to BCN?

+ hotel & hotel transfer & next day flight from BRU to BCN (according to the newspapers). If this info is correct, how unfortunate it may be for the pax, job well done by TUIFly. If communications towards the waiting pax would have been handled better, then it would have been 'job very well done'.
If you compare this with how stranded pax are (not) compensated by...an other airline...

G-POWD (767-3ER Titan Airways) replaced yesterday OO-JLO (737-8 TUI BE) (via CRL Planespotting Group on Facebook) for flights CRL-TFS and TFS-CRL (not yet) after collision between the 737 and an airport truck at CRL.
Flight CRL-TFS was delayed for 10 hours.

A 767 at CRL? That's a rarity indeed! Any pics?TLspotting wrote: ↑21 May 2017, 09:02 G-POWD (767-3ER Titan Airways) replaced yesterday OO-JLO (737-8 TUI BE) (via CRL Planespotting Group on Facebook) for flights CRL-TFS and TFS-CRL (not yet) after collision between the 737 and an airport truck at CRL.

Bad weekend for the tour operators. Apart from TUI at CRL, Thomas Cook also had its part of problems: more than 24 hours delay at BRU because of engine problems on an Air Baltic B735:

Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2017
To clarify the Thomas Cook/Enfidha situation:
The number of 180 passengers came from RTL info. It is far from being confirmed. And indeed I just received the following information
Based upon the flight history on FR24, the Air Baltic 737-500 was never involved. And the Titan 737-300 was not the replacement aircraft, but the original aircraft scheduled for that flight.
The replacement was OY-JTT, a Jet Time 737-700, that was based at Aalborg, was flying to/from AAL the previous days, and jumped over to BRU on Sunday afternoon. OY-JTT positionned AAL-BRU as HQ-303 and repositionned back home LGG-AAL, also as HQ303:
https://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/hq303
history Thomas Cook HQ-378:
https://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/hq378
departure HQ-378 BRU-NBE:
20th May BRU-NBE B737-300 G-POWC : no flight info available. Thus no flight executed.
21st May BRU-NBE B737-700 OY-JTT : dep BRU 17h18 UTC – landing NBE around 19h30 UTC (FR24 ended recording at 5.300ft)
return HQ-379 : NBE-LGG
21st May B737-700 OY-JTT : dep NBE 20h35 UTC (FR24 didn’t record the take off run) – landing at LGG around 22h55 UTC (FR24 didn’t record the landing) (and then repositioning to AAL)
The Air Baltic 737-500 doesn’t fit in that Enfidha story:

(Thanks to passenger for the additional information)

TUI flight ANR-ALC delayed for over an hour due to one 'valid' crewmember too few (valid= all paperwork in order)
Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2017
Yesterday SN3581 from BRU to FSC operated by OO-DWC was over Luxemburg when it returned back to BRU. It took off again 1 hour later to FSC
