Running short of croissants or pressurization issue I'd say.

From FL360 to landing in less than 25 minutes and one hour before ETA, I suspect the breakfast service has been expedited. Must have been quite a performance to prep the cabin in such a short time.

Data from FR24 show an initial rate of descent in excess of 3000 fpm.

Maybe I shouldn't have taken it so lightly.

OO-SFN departed NTE only 01h30 after landing, she landed in BRU at 07:40 and is already out again to FIH so it may have been a medical emergency.
Let's hope it ended well.

The return was also somewhat odd. Very late change of runway from 25L to 01.

That actually looks like a fairly standard go-around on 25L (heading 105), followed by a downwind and final leg for 01.
Too much tailwind perhaps?

Also, the rate of descent and the lack of level-off at around FL100 during the initial diversion suggests something different than pressurisation failure. I would say a medical emergency is a good guess.

SN 501 to JFK cancelled today...one more time ! Why are they planning to fly so technically the planes are not ready to fly ?
I have already said but if the short and medium network is credible, the long haul is absolutely not and I deeply regret. Une vraie roulette russe ! Why do african passengers continue to connect in BRU ? AMS or CDG could be beter...

A Hi Fly A330-200 (CS-TQW) is positioning right now from AMS Amsterdam to BRU Brussels. Flight number TB103P (TB103 is tomorrows' Jetairfly flight to Punta Cana).

https://www.flightradar24.com/data/airc ... w/#d28ba0b

Could it be because today's TB-705 from Brussels to Cancun is delayed? ETD for TB-705 was 09h25 this morning (B787 OO-JDL) but the flight hasn't left yet. Perhaps the Hi Fly will do the Cancun too?

I think you're overreacting. Maybe because you seem emotionnaly attached to SN (not a criticism).

Roulette russe it is... from an emotion, it becomes a fact...

Yes I'm attached to SN and if I fly SN on short routes I'm GOLD Miles and More and never fly them. It's a pity. Two YYZ SN flights were cancelled last year and have to fly AC or LH. Not credible ! I fly AF/KL who NEVER cancel a JFK flight ! It's a fact but I understand it's easier for SN to cancel a transatlantic flight than an african flight... I'm sad for not being proud of the belgian company !

On 25th April 2017, a Wizzair A321-200, performing flight W6-1381 from Warsaw to Charleroi was climbing out of Warsaw when the crew stopped the climb at about FL290 following a lightning strike and decided to return to Warsaw.

KLM KL808 Taipei-Amsterdam: KLM's 777 is AOG in Hong Kong (technical diversion).

Arrival KL-808 in Amsterdam is delayed from Tue 02th May 06h55 to Wed 3th May 18h00.

I rest my case.

Problem with a Brussels Airlines SSJ100 or with RadarBox24 ?

Tweet of RadarBox24 2 hours ago: "Brussels Airlines #SN2548 is declaring an emergency"

Image

Response of Brussels Airlines one hour ago: "#SN2548 is a flight from Krakow to Brussels and is scheduled to leave this afternoon at 2PM... can you please remove your erroneous tweet?"

They had a problem earlier this morning with EI-FWC (SN2553 to Warsaw) that returned to base from around Frankfurt.

Thanks convair. Thus a problem with both an SN SSJ and with RF24 :)

Looks like a pressurization issue.
Screenshot 2017-05-03 21.54.53.png

She went up to FL350 like a breeze but at that point they initiated a rapid descent (avg 3600 fpm per FR24 data), levelled at FL100 and returned home.

Funny story

Nordica - LOT tonight cancelled the Tallinn-Brussels-Tallinn flight

However, the Estonian PM is in Brussels today, needing the flight back
And tomorrow is Government meeting in Tallinn.

So, few calls later, a plane is called over and will do Warsaw -Brussels-Tallinn today, few hours delay
LOT.PNG
Plane is ES-ACH
