The new US Defense Secretary, former General Jim Mattis, is set to leave on Tuesday for a NATO defence ministerial in Brussels, where he'll also meet separately with those ministers from countries participating in the campaign against the Islamic State.

The NATO ministerial is taking place on Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 February
