Poll... SN-LH-EW: What's your feeling ?

Post by cathay belgium »

Hi,

After a day belgian aviation changed again radically; what is your personal opinion about it?

SN will have a new fleet in the future, more destinations ...
But we will loose our identity, a bit like Hungary has after Malev with Wizz but Wizz is hungarian on a note..
BRU will be LCC in the future with some legacy carriers left...
Who has this one see comin' five years ago.. no LCC terminal, discussions about seat benches, No Ryanair,...
Now BRU future has no LCC terminal but a whole airport it seems to me !

Time will tell but SN isn't ours anymore, we have two years to mour about it and slightly adapt on the new red blue colours...
It was predicted indeed, but LH Belgium sounded even better then EW now...
We exchange a well known SN in an unproven lucky toss for EW...

Will the germans be right in the end ?

SN didn't speak German so no OS,LX story for us, be glad we don't speak english we know how ended BD :)

A poll for your vision and feelings about this ?

Grtz,

The constant struggle to raise enough cash only to survive and soldier on, is finally over.
From now on, if there's a good case for investment, they simply call Frankfurt and the money will follow.
Who cares if the Belgian flag carrier will be called say Belgian Wings in 5 years time, when it means it flies say 15 A330 and 45 A320 from its hub in Brussels?
Whining about a possible demise of the beloved Brussels Airlines name and colours is forgetting you have come to love those only after the disappearance of Sabena first too: an identical emotional attachment will grow to whatever name they'd possibly come up with for Belgium's official flag carrier in future, if ever they decide to replace it with something fresh.
