How about TUI's US-flights? Would passengers of these flights be eligible for this preclearance too?

The temporary border control is just before gate A/T61.stragke wrote: ..... but still have not the slightest clue how many gates are in the terminal could be 6 could be 8.
Many gates/stands further East from this point but only the following ones are used by wide-body aircraft. This is due to their wingspan being larger than the stand width which is optimized for use by Code C aircraft, those having a WS of <36m e.g. A320 / B737.
So a parked A330 will infringe on the next stand which then becomes u/s.
T gates on North side :
T64 - 68 - 72 - 74. The latter being the "recent" addition.
T gates on South side :
T61 - 65 - 69. The T71 has the boarding bridge installed for quite some time but not put in use yet. Think this is due to the lack of holding room (Sunrise Lounge area).
So total gates currently available for long haul (WB aircraft) at A-Pier : 4 + 3 = 7.
Small digression on the main topic though.

This is going to happen in BRU: it will be trialled in H2 2017. It could have been earlier without the terror attacks of 22/03/2016.stragke wrote:so if this is going to happen in BRU

The Dutch government said on Tuesday it had ended talks with the United States over allowing "pre-clearance" of passengers travelling from Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport following President Donald Trump's curbs on immigration.

Ireland is reviewing the process at Dublin and Shannon and might decide to abandon the pre-clearance. Taoiseach Enda Kenny has ordered a "complete review" of US pre-clearance in Ireland after the Trump administration's decisions on immigration over the weekend.

Under such conditions, I'm afraid we will not see pre-clearance at Brussels for a long time. Four years?

I contacted Brussels Airport, whose spokeswoman told me that the discussions were still ongoing.sn26567 wrote: 31 Jan 2017, 16:32 Under such conditions, I'm afraid we will not see pre-clearance at Brussels for a long time. Four years?
In Ireland, the cabinet voted unanimously to keep the current situation, this no breakup of the pre-clearance facilities.
