I just saw a China Airlines 747 pass my office after take off from Brussels.
I checked on airliners.net but only one picture of china airlines and that dates from 1999...
Couldn't see whether it was cargo or pax...
Someone has any idea what he was doing here?

Do not confuse them!!!!
China doesn't recognize Taiwan as a country, but as a "rebellious province"
There are some ex-Sabena pilots who are flying now with China Airlines (A340-300. and soon (july or later), A330)

Around which hour? I doubt it was a China Air. At around 13.30 an Asiana Cargo departed from EBBR and he flew very low. Could it be that plane you saw?

Was just before the time of my first post, seeing the forum time is one hour earlier, this should have been around 4 pm...
I'm pretty sure it was not Asiana cargo... Also pretty sure I saw the big flower on the tail of the plane, so that should be China Airlines, right?
Asiana cargo is a pretty differenc c/s... I'm quite sure of my case, but you got me doubting anyway since noone here seems to know why it was there...

damn, so i'm wrong... 8O Maybe I mistaked the sign on the Air Hong Kong for a flower then, strange but possible... Definately weren't basic cx colours, sure of that, cause I recognize the CX tail from miles away, so has to be Air Hong Kong...
