Video download of ILS approach Rwy 25L in Brussels !!

Post by max64 »

Hi,

I found THIS for You:

http://www.airplanetv.com/vid/bru_25L_app.wmv

The size is about 840kB and it shows the last minute of an approach into BRU 25L with an A320 in excellent quality with recorded ATC transmissions.

Hope You like it! :D

Indeed, great movie.
Too bad you can't see the cockpit instruments.

Thanks for the nice movie max64 :P
Did I hear the Sabena call-sign correctly?
Yes indeed. That's what the tower sais: " Sabena 5839 cleared for T/O rnwy 25R, winds 243???, 12knots". But the quality of the sounds is bad :(

Are you sure ????? Sn's callsign is S-tail !!!

Anyway, SN5839 ???? I really wonder what flight that is

From what the pilots are saying I would guess that the A320 is from Finnair or Austrian. But that's a pure guess ;)

SN's radio call sign is still Sabena. I heared it many times on the radio. And I'm 100% sure of it. Never heared S-tail over the radio. A while ago I also thought it was S-tail, untill I heared it myself.

strange :?: ,

I regularly hear ATC and I haven't heared the callsign 'Sabena' for a long time now.

S-tail on the contrary I hear very frequently.

Could anyone confirm the callsign for SN Brussels Airlines?

I suggest that you buy a newer radio, Biele! yours obviously has a built in delay.

Well if you use it almost every day, I rest my case ;)
Strange that I could still hear it over the radio. I have to admit it's already some months ago now. Do you know how comes I could still hear it? Or maybe it were the A330's still using it?

Thanks for the confirmation ;)

When towing we use just the registration number, like Sierra Fox Mike...
