The police has sealed off Antwerp Airport because of a "suspected parcel on an access road". The aerodrome itself is not affected, but no one can get to / get away from the airport.

Inspection of the parcel by DOVO/SEDEE was negative. Access to the airport is allowed again.

Dovo / Sedee had to make a U-turn on the E19 Antwerpen-Brussels. They are now checking a suspected parcel at Antwerpen Central Station. Two levels are closed off there.

Both Antwerp Airport and Antwerpen Central Station are again open for business.

Jetairfly's schedule to/from ANR slightly disrupted today. As far as I can see, the BRU-ALC-ANR-ALC-BRU rotations probably planned for OO-JEB, were split in BRU-ALC-BRU by Titan Airways G-ZAPW and the ALC-ANR-ALC added to OO-JVA's planning for today, which gives it a 7-sector workload today...with the remaining 2 sectors (ANR-FCO-ANR) still to do... Will probably end with FCO-ANR being diverted to BRU

SN371 Brussels-Douala (A330-200 OO-SFZ) was delayed by about one hour this morning. One illegal Cameroon citizen was going to be repatriated, escorted by police. But once the other passengers had boarded, he started screaming. Six other passengers joined him in his protest and threated and/or insulted the police. They were all arrested and their luggage had to be offloaded. The repatriation of the illegal has been postponed till next availability of flight & staff.

Sunday's Jetairfly JAF-701 / TB-701 to Montego Bay / Santo Domingo is delayed till Monday 10h30 a.m. Aircraft will be a Plus Ultra A340-300 (EC-MFA). The one who's helping out Surinam Airways at this very moment... EC-MFA is expected in Amsterdam at 07h20 on Monday morning, with AMS-BRU TB-701P expected to leave AMS at 08h40.

Jetairfly's 767-300ER OO-JNL seems to be in unplanned maintenance since 17th August:

Good news for the Jetair and Jetairfly passengers waiting at Brussels Airport since yesterday for their flight JAF-701 to Santo Domingo and Montego Bay, and looking for "Jetairfly, what's going on"? Your aircraft took off at Amsterdam at 14h06 and is about to land at Brussels Airport in about five minutes.

Do you call an 83 dollar discount on an excursion of 205 dollar a nice compensation ;) ? Oh... and if you accept their "cheap offer" you need to sign a paper in which you state you don't file any further complaints.

OO-DWA touching down back at BRU 21:10.
Must have been significant to stay on the ground at BLQ for so long.
