Starting April 24, Syrian Air will be replacing its Sunday RB433/434 flight operating Damascus (DAM) - Aleppo (ALP) - Beirut (BEY) - Brussels (BRU) - Beirut (BEY) - Aleppo (ALP) - Damascus (DAM) with a new Saturday RB427/428 operating Damascus (DAM) - Beirut (BEY) - Brussels (BRU) - Beirut (BEY) - Damascus (DAM).
The Wednesday RB433/434 which operates Damascus (DAM) - Brussels (BRU) - Amsterdam (AMS) - Damascus (DAM) flight will be start operating as Damascus (DAM) - Amsterdam (AMS) - Brussels (BRU) - Aleppo (ALP) - Damascus (DAM) starting June 2.
All flights will be on A320s. Traffic rights are granted on all segments.
I guess you can say this change is good and bad.
Brussels loses one-stop Aleppo (ALP) service on both the outbound and inbound legs, but capacity for Beirut (BEY) increases since the flight will no longer stop in Aleppo (ALP) before arriving in Beirut.
In October, Yemenia did announce that they will start 1x weekly A310-300 service operating Sanaa (SAH) - Beirut (BEY) - Brussels (BRU) - Beirut (BEY) - Sanaa (SAH), however it has yet to materialize and there has been no sign of it starting yet. They would have had traffic rights on Beirut (BEY) - Brussels (BRU).
