I work at Brussels Airport and we call it now Brushasa the most northern airport of Africa.

Brussels Airport can't handle any irregularity! ( I'm not talking about the attacks).
Not only passengers are tired about the problems at this airport but staff as well !
Best regards,

well, we now get some creative answers to the "what next" question :)
Very well done, gold medal to the best airport in its category : third world.

Luckily we have the other Belgian airports showing us how a first world airport has to be run:

Let's not exaggerate this, bagage handling system was down for about an hour (had to be processed manually), as well as flight information. But indeed, what's going to happen next week?
It's the second power failure in a relative short term... Maybe something to do with the attacks, since before 22/03 these kind of things virtually never happend?

Passenger, when will you understand that its not one vs the other here. There is only one big (inter)national airport in belgium and this huge list of problems is OUR problem.

Ps: i hate the brainless union actions just as much as you, I would never defend them.

What's the matter with you? You say that Brussels Airport deserves the gold for Third World Airport, though Brussels Airport says it's a direct result of 22/03. And when I reply that your two favourite airports aren't that much better, you complain?

Children: can you please stop this useless bullshit? This thread is about operational abnormalities at our airports and it is not a thread to discuss about FR vs. SN.

Thank you.

This is what Anke Fransen (Brussels Airport) said to VTM: it's not normal that such incident happens again, so it must be linked to some 22/03 damage. We are not going to wait for the technical investigation and we've ordered a new high power transmission unit ("we gaan de stroomcabine vervangen").

Flight Saudi SV-116 from London Heathrow to Jeddah (B777-300ER / HZ-AK25) was enroute at FL370 about 20nm south of Brussels when the crew decided to divert to Brussels reporting smoke in the cabin. The aircraft landed safely on 25R about 23 minutes after leaving FL370.

Problem with one of the engines , I think they have replace the engine in DKR before they
can ferry it back to BRU.

Yesterday evening (10/07/2016), Brussels Airlines flight SN3669 operated by OO-SSW did a go around at TLS due to bird strike in the front gear. After being delayed for 4 hours, the flight has been canceled. OO-SSW took off this morning to BRU as BEL9970

Not an abnormality at Antwerp Airport, but above Antwerp Airport:

KLM KL-1739 AMS-LUX (ERJ-190 PH-EZT) had just passed Antwerp Airport at its normal cruising level 23.000ft, when the aircraft made a right hand turn, back to Amsterdam.

Anyone know what's going on with SN3591, BRU-LYS? It flew all the way to just north of LYS, then turned back to BRU, where it's landing right now. OO-SSQ.

Nose gear problems. Landed 25R 20 min ago, had to be towed to the stand (but was able to vacate the runway without assistance).
