I'm not lucky enough to be able to listen to the radio stations you just mentioned, I am lumbered with Yorkshire Coast Radio. Sometimes they play some good songs (but isn't it always the good songs which are talked over and cut off before the end, whilst rubbish is always played in its entirety?)

After a while though, the station drives me insane because it is one which plays adverts, and when you have heard the same advert for the five millionth time in one day, it really drives you spare.

I used to listen to Studio Brussel...but times change...I don't like them anymore as much like I did two years ago. I'm tuning in more often to Donna. Guess I've become a little bit tired of the alternative stuff.

Yannick

Radio1
When its midnight in Brussel its 06:00am in Doi Saket (en Omstreken)
The night program until BRU 06:00am = Noon in DS
fantastic: only good stereo music only a news bulletin on the hour.
Live927 is also great, particularly when I have live-pictures via satelite. But there can be a delay in sound of more then a few minutes. So I get the points in the replays. Fun

I enjoy Yorkshire Coast Radio. OK, they play loads of boring adverts and some not so good music, but, on the whole it's good!

Comet can be a right misery, and she has what I call the Fastest Finger In The West, that is, her finger can strike the "off" button from a hover at the speed of light when I am about to leave for work (only joking!)

Hello Frederic,

You know, Roxanne, Xandee, Danzel, basically all this Eurosong/Idool stuff + other music I just don't like...

Used to be "Bruxelles Capitale", but RTBF just changed it into "VivaCité", and I don't like it anymore. Too much blabla.

Switched to Musique3 (still RTBF). Anything against classical music, anyone?

And on Internet, WQXR, the Radio Station of the New York Times (only classical...).

Nothing against classical, depends what it is. If it's that tuneless stuff which seems to go on for hours then it is boring. However, if it's got a good tune and a bit of a punch then it can be quite good.

I prefer radio stations without many talk. I listen rather to Skyradio, but since that only 60 min. full advertisement is, what sometimes interrupted is by some music, I listen to RTL FM.

Allthough I allmost never listen to the radio on my radio :? , I do listen to the radio via my computer.

Some of my prefered channels are :

 C-Dance, belgian Dance, Trance, Techno channel (www.c-dance.com)
 Di.fm Trancechannel (www.di.fm)
 Di.fm HardTrancechannel (www.di.fm)
 Di.fm Housechannel (www.di.fm)
 Di.fm Technochannel (www.di.fm)

If I'm in a car, I usually play Tuning Beats or Explosive Car Tuning CD's, so we don't have to listen to Radio 1 or Donna crap ... (sorry for the Radio 1 and Donna-listeners) ... just not my kind of music .

sn26567,

you should try the classical channel on http://www.di.fm, maybe you'll like it ...
It uses Winamp or Windows Media Player ...

Indeed. It was worth trying on Winanmp. Never on Microsoft M$ monopolistic software, which will receive a steep penalty (€479 million) from the EU for incorporating Media Player into Windows.
