Does anybody know till when G-POWK will fly for Brussels Airlines? I'm booked on SN 3735 on May 25; any chance it will still be there and operating this flight?
Thanks,

THX
Hello!
It is not exactly an abnormality as this is a scheduled (almost?) daily service from/to BRU but I totally agree with you about the strange fact that this route is not operated from/to LGG.
I see there's an Enter Air aircraft at OST right now. Where is that going/coming from? I've never heard of that airline before. Is it flying for Jetairfly?

Below is the explanation that I had in mind. Not sure if it is still correct or if it has ever been correct.
This TNT flight out of BRU is a cargo flight that mainly transports sensitive and urgent medical materials.
DHL used to have this contract. But when they downgraded their BRU hub in 2008, DHL no longer could offer a direct connection from BRU to Scandinavia. That's when TNT jumped in and took over this contract.
For some reasons the client seems to want to send his shipments only out of BRU and on a dedicated, direct flight.

Enter Air SP-ENR 737-800 did ENT-557P this morning (Poznan-Ostend), and took off from OST at 09h45 local, south-bound (to ? Southern France? Barcelona? Mallorca?).
It looks to me like a charter flight, not a Jetairfly scheduled flight. If a very very wild guess is allowed: maybe a reward for the soccer players from KV Oostende? They just ended 5th in our Jupiler Premier League, and their president can afford to offer a breakaway to players, staff, family & local press. Or perhaps a Club Brugge breakaway?

I can partly answer my own questions : it's flying to Bilbao.

Ok THX looks logic because Brussels is specialized pharmaceutical products...
not that logic, LGG is also specialized in pharma.
But if the client wants BRU, he gets BRU i guess ...
You barely save time, but what the client wants, the client gets

By "urgent and sensitive medical materials", do we understand pharmaceuticals or could it be something like donor organs?
if i'm not mistaken, the routing is HEL-ORB-BRU-JKG-HEL
to be confirmed 100%
could it be something like donor organs?
could be but a 737 isn't small ...
