It will be a chaos until people feel unsure.
How can you leave from one airport and land in another ?
They (all airlines) need to make a mi-term plan week by week.

All parkings at LGG are full. Passengers are asked to be dropped by someone else or to take a shuttle from Brussels or from Liege Guillemins station.

... en if like me you have the "great chance" to get a flight from Brussels, just wear your most confortable shoes and walk, because no transport public available. Welcome in Albania.

Come on guys be a bit more positive! Walking a bit and climbing some stairs isn't exactly the end of the world isn't it? Besides this is temporary (as you obviously know) and there is an elevator provided for those who might need it (Elderly, families with small kids, PRM's,...)
I do agree on the public transport part, I feel there could have been a shuttle service linking the station of Zaventem with the airport but who knows that they are planning to start again on train services* and perhaps bus services too in the coming days...
* As posted by Passenger in another topic train services won't be operated in the coming days due to damage of the passageway.

Is the Airport Express bus service between Antwerp and BRU running? It's not really public transport, but it's not taxi either...

More and more SN flights return to Brussels. But there are still a handful departing from Antwerp. Here is a view of the departure board of ANR this morning (picture Luchtzak):

Re: Repositioning of BRU operations to other airports after attacks
Any idea what's going to happen with the 2 Flybe Dashes that landed in BRU just before the attack
I noticed all the Dash destinations (HAJ, BLL, .... ) still to be cancelled, quite strange having a crew and 2 A/C in BRU I would think that those A/Cs would be put into service ASAP.

Re: Repositioning of BRU operations to other airports after attacks
A new diversion parking has been opened at Liege Airport, with free shuttles to the terminal. The regular parkings are frequently full.

LGG is currently handling 70 flights per day (was 100 during the peak), decreasing little by little.
There is room for more flighs, I wonder why alitalia doesnt resume Linate...

Re: Repositioning of BRU operations to other airports after attacks
The 2 Q400 are leased to Brussels Airlines and it is their call to let us fly again.
Crew is mixed: some (like me) are based in BRU, others are based in the UK and that is where they are. We have no non-BRU based crew here at the moment. In the next few months all crew will be BRU based and no more UK crew will operate for SN.
