Interesting catch KriVa.KriVa wrote:Not really an abnormality as such, but something I noticed overhead Belgium on FR24 today. Two aircraft with different Mode-S transponder codes, though they were transmitting the same aircraft registration. Spotted overhead Diest. Apparently, one of the two departed in MST, the other one seems to have taken off in Diest.
This looks like a weather-related delay, compounded by a limit on duty hours of the crew. I'm afraid that the passengers will not get any compensation. Knowing JAF from a previous similar personal experience, they certainly have provided free accommodation and meals to the delayed passengers.Passenger wrote:JAF-6833 737-800 OO-JAY Brussels-La Palma diverted to Tenerife yesterday evening (deviated at the first landing attempt at SPC). OO-JAY flew back to La Palma about two hours later, but the next JAF-6834 La Palma-Funchal-Brussels was delayed from Saturday evening till this morning.
Final delay for arrival JAF-6833 in Brussels: 00h55 becomes 16h30.
The same aircraft (RJ100 OO-DWB) took off again after return, and meanwhile has just landed in Marseille, so return was probably medical.jvdv wrote:SN3603 to MRS seems to be returning to BRU on FR24.

I don't know if the "too much beer" in the following story was caused by the above delay, but anyway:Passenger wrote:(18 Dec 2015) Belgocontrol had some data exchange problems this early morning at Brussels Airport, causing a delay of one to two hours for quite some flights. By 09h00, all problems were solved.

Most units deployed carry the good ol' FNC. Otherwise it could have been an FN P90 but not that many units are equipped yet.Passenger wrote:.... trying to steal the automatic gun (an Uzi?) from a soldier at Brussels Airport.
