How long does it take to the organism in charge of the slot to deliver it, and how does it work?

Re: BRU Winter 2015/2016: latest news, routes, airlines
http://www.eturbonews.com/62246/brussel ... nd-entebbeAs British Airways exits Uganda in October, Brussels Airlines will have changed tack and will offer nonstop flights between Brussels and Entebbe when the new winter schedule will commence on October 26.
Operating as SN 465 every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, the previous stop in Kigali will be cut out saving passengers a good hour and a half on the inbound flight to Entebbe. Passengers dumped by British Airways into the market, as a result of their withdrawal, will be able to connect to several UK destinations via Brussels with a short transit time there after arriving from Entebbe. As an added benefit, immigration processing queues in Brussels are normally much shorter than in London Heathrow which has gained notoriety long waits.
However, Brussels Airlines has also added the option to join one of the two flights out of Kigali, which will also begin to operate nonstop on Sundays and Wednesdays effective from the 26th of October. This is going to be possible through a code share arrangement with RwandAir which will fly passengers from Entebbe destined to Brussels and beyond on their daily evening flight WB 435. From there they join SN 451 after a short transit time in Kigali.

That is right - 15% less seats and presumably 15% more legroom.sn26567 wrote:... seating 160 people (29 less than Ryanair or Jetairfly)
But you'll pay for it.
A return ticket Brussels-Rabat will cost you 190 euros with Jetairfly (not after end October).
A return ticket Charleroi-Rabat will cost you 98 euros in November with Ryanair.
A return ticket Brussels-Rabat in November with Royal Air Maroc will set you back 1700 euros.
IF IT AIN'T BOEING, I'M NOT GOING.

The RAM website shows this 1.700 Euro rate for every flight, so it's quite obvious that they haven't loaded the flights in their system yet. Actually, it's cheaper for the moment to book Rabat via Casablanca.airazurxtror wrote:A return ticket Brussels-Rabat will cost you 190 euros with Jetairfly (not after end October).

Nice to see. So also Qatar will have now two flights on Friday. It's good to see that gently they give the ME carriers some more frequencies. Let's wait and see about Etihad and Emirates.

Must've been an error fare, seeing 170 euro.Passenger wrote:The RAM website shows this 1.700 Euro rate for every flight, so it's quite obvious that they haven't loaded the flights in their system yet. Wouldn't it be better Thai deploy a smaller 788 on the BRU route to allow a long waited daily flight

Or a daily service by 77W is under investigation

Re: BRU Winter 2015/2016: latest news, routes, airlines
For the winter 15/16, Vueling aims to add over 26,500 seats from Brussels, or 8% compared to the winter season 14/15. To better achieve these ambitions, it will add to its winter flight schedule 15/16 a direct service to Bilbao, a destination in Northern Spain that was proposed so far only during the summer. Vueling will also offer a special 'holiday' connection: from 19 December 2015 to 2 January 2016, the low-cost airline will fly to Santiago de Compostela (Spain) from Brussels.

Why is Vueling 'always' late? Not enough crews? Thanks for the information.
Re: BRU Winter 2015/2016: latest news, routes, airlines
They're not late as the latest return date for slots was August 31st. Many airlines make the final choices around that date and thus wait until the last moment to decide which slots they're going to use. Thus probably this means they opted for BRU instead of another market.air belgium wrote:Why is Vueling 'always' late? Not enough crews? Thanks for the information.
