The advantage being everybody is now used to be punctually at the gate, this was different before.

Still, fortunately we bounced back from the ultra low cost, to low cost with seat assignments.

But when they look at their boarding pass, they'll see they have a seat assigned, how difficult can it be!

Seat assigned + no trolley = sit back, relax and read a book.

Cheers,

Stij

P.S. Even with trolleys: My father checked in his bags with FR and they proposed to check in his trolley for free as well as the flight was full... The days several bags had to be taken of are over as well...

Quote from Iain Inglis, 31, Ryanair pilot on Facebook:
http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/ry ... s-5861139/
When you see that pilot with his tinfoil hat, you wonder who is the moron - at the very least, here is another pilot with a psychological problem !
Moreover, the passengers queue as they please, it's none of his business - those passengers pay his monthly stipend, I'll have him to remember.
And if they loiter instead of queuing, he'll be delayed - he should use his brains (if any).

Seriously, the reason people queue is because all too many of them have grown accustomed to the terrible boarding practices of low costs overtime. Many can't even imagine what a pleasure it was/is to be invited to board a flight, ideally straight from the lounge.

The annoyance to flying really only started the day tickets had to be cheaper than the car park fee at the airport almost.
Correct!

And another cause for those "morons" queues inside the aircraft are those ridiculous luggage surcharges. People who used to travel with one small hand luggage and one small suitcase nowadays travel with one big hand luggage.

They should travel with Ryanair - where you can bring two cabin bags for free : 55x40x20 and 35x20x20cm.

That second hand luggage (aka tax free shop) is allowed with every EU airline: it's an obligation.

A question I've asked already back in the first days of ryanair changing its course on carry on luggage and which you then said was soon to improve further: do they already reconcile passengers with their checked carry on luggage upon arrival now like others do, or do those unfortunate people still need to wait for it at the belt in the airport? Otherwise, that tinfoiled person has to look no further for the reason for his observation he felt the need for to post online in a rather unflattering way.

just like on SN (PA heard in brussels 2 days ago while boarding an SN flight) baggage will be offloaded when the cabin is full and will be able to be recollected on the baggagebelt in the airport of arrival.

Indeed, I had that happen to me at airports were such is not allowed it seems: where it is (like in BRU), they seems to systematically do it: so it's exactly the same at ryanair then, or not?
Do they do it in BRU, where it is apparently allowed, or not?

Yet going by the size of it, that second piece is just a laptop bag or a briefcase?
From my own experience such is never a problem elsewhere either; those airlines don't even count it as a real bag to start with, just as tax fee bags aren't counted, nor the jacked/hat etc you may bring in winter.
In fact, nothing seems to be really counted elsewhere, as long as it fits more or less?
Much to do about nothing, IMHO.
Maybe it's because you guys used to be so overly strict about it, that you now all make a big thing out of it? My advice would be to act 'normally' and stop making a show out of thin air: you charge nearly as much as all the others, so why not finally behave like all the others too now? Although in your defence, other airlines are good at advertising impressive lists with product features which are just common sense too: wonder when the first is going to advertise free onboard lavatory access being included in the ticket price???

When boarding a Ryanair flight TO Brussels and whenever carry on luggage is taken off, people are reconsiled with all of it at the steps of the aircraft, NOT at the baggage belt? Because that's how I know how it goes at Brussels Airlines which you've included into this discussion.
YES or NO?

I do not see any ambiguity here. That is FR policy on all flights.

Every one is entitled to have a opinion but there is a way to express it, and mainly a way to interact with people.

And all posts that were not linked to the luggage discussion have been removed.

Please hold your horses and if you can't, get away from your computer, go to a terrace and drink a beer! The weather is nice outside... and I can get some work done!!!

So on ALL flights, Sean?
Then let me solve the disclose issue for you; the simple YES/NO reply to my dead simple question is:
"NO, we stil do not do as Brussels Airlines",
contrary to what you have repeatedly been suggested by saying amongst others:

Strange, the standard SN boarding PA in BRU seems to indicate something else. I heard it on 6 different gates for 8 different flights

There are a few persons here who discuss Ryanair and have probably never taken a Ryanair flight - or not since a long time. That is to say, they don't know what they speak of.

Strangely enough, they have not much discussed the latest Ryanair annual results - although they profess to be experts in economy and finances...
