It'll take me some time to get used to this "ugly" duckling
I hope they change the livery quickly :!:
If you carefully look at the tail ther's a sticker that moved if you compare it to previous pics. The inversed E's lowest bar is not comple anymore

This means that the BelgiumExel 767 could not have made those 2 flights. Which airline flew the other flight? There is no information in the Spotters Database yet.

HXL 332 landed 16:51, and HXL 711 was supposed to depart 20:25, so its the same aircraft Andre  .

That's rigth, but it seems "she" always comes back with a "strong" delay

She's always been late, even first flight was late. Normally she would have landed at 8h55, but she came in at 12h10, so more then 3h hours late. Second return flight she even had 12 hours of delay :?

What a service!

It's not only the airline that's part of the delays.
Also local airport authorities need to do everything they should do within the planned turnaround time.

So if the plane always departs on time and only arrives back with delays maybe the problem is not the airline but the local airport authorities or handling.

Best Regards,
Yvo

I've seen the 767 this morning at close distance on the ramp and it's very ugly.

I deeply miss Sobelair...

birdstrike

Post by bae146be »

The Zanzibar and Mombasa flight was delayed yesterday due to a technical problem with the landing gear in Mombasa! There was probably a birdstrike against the main landing gear during the landing at Mombasa Airport. After checking the brakes system in the landing gears, there was no damage in the interior brakes and the flight conintued to Brussels. The check took 2 hours because the technical infrastructure in Mombasa is very bad!
